Orthodontic Treatment
Orthodontics is part of dentistry that is responsible for the correction of incorrectly positioned teeth and bones. The goal of this specialty is to get a correct mastication function (chewing ability) and a harmonic aesthetic correcting defects of alignment and poor position of the teeth, such as crowding, a diastema, crossed bite, among others.

Orthodontic treatment can help fix the patient's teeth and set them in the right place. Most often braces and retainers are used in the process of setting the patient's teeth. There are, however, orthodontists who work on reconstructing the entire face rather than focusing exclusively on teeth.
